My name is Nate (he/him), I am a Product Designer and Researcher based in Ann Arbor.
I am graduating from the University of Michigan with a Bachelors Degree in UX Design in May 2025. Previously, I have worked at GoDaddy designing Upgrade Experiences and Figma researching new features on Figma Community.

I have a knack for qualitative research and digging deep in my studies to understand the root “why” - I keep pulling the thread to get at the deepest user insight!
My favorite parts of work are the bookends: writing the documentation to kick off a project, or sharing out the final work! I love being able to map a project together on a slide deck or whiteboard.
I work best in diverse teams of cross functional partners. In my experiences at school, I’ve worked alongside professors and fellow students across various disciplines.
I’m excited about learning new work tools and processes to expedite my workflow - whether it be a new design tool or work management platform, I’m a quick learner and adapt quickly to new environments.

This quote from my favorite childhood TV show has always stuck with me. Iroh is a beloved character who regularly shares advice (and a cup of tea) with our protagonists.
In design, I embody Iroh's approach, integrating wisdom from various sources. Whether understanding users through both conversations and quantitative data, or seeking design feedback from various partners, my goal is to enrich the experiences I craft by bringing together multiple perspectives.
